I am standing as a candidate in the 2022 Council Elections because it is vital to get more Green voices heard to take decisions that will make Edinburgh Council not only tackle the climate emergency properly, but also empty bins on time, balance our communities with Edinburgh tourism better and make the bold choices that are coming through City Centre Transformation, Low Emission Zones and other plans.
I have served my local community as chair of my local community council working with councillors to get things done and improve the area. I have attended council committees, been part of the Neighbourhood Partnership Committee, alongside working with ward councillors to get things done to improve the local area.
Edinburgh is a fantastic city and with more Green councillors we have a real chance to make massive positive changes for local communities and the climate emergency we are all facing.
